    From modern crafts to traditional, there will be something for everyone, so come along and treat yourself or a loved one.

    The event is also supporting the Kent Air Ambulance.

    BEGINNERS OPEN DAY – HB Amateur Rowing Club

    If you fancy having a go at coastal rowing with a view to racing in the 2014 summer season then come along to the boat house on the 3rd May. wear old t shirt/sweatshirt and shorts or leggings. old trainers are essential as you will get wet. we have changing rooms at the club. School year 7 and above are welcome.

    We train every Sunday morning at 10am and new members are very welcome to come along then also to have a go.

    From The Jam plus special guests

    From The Jam, featuring former The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton and Russell Hastings, bring their acoustic tour to The King’s Hall!

    Bruce and Russell will be performing a selection of songs from The Jam’s extensive back catalogue and songs from Bruce’s new album Back In The Room as well as handing over the microphone to the audience for a question and answer session.

    They will also be supported on the night by The Lost Weekend and Reptilia.

    Tickets can be booked on 01227 787 787 with all major debit and credit cards (except American Express). Your booking will be processed by our main booking office at the new Marlowe Theatre.

    Lines are open Monday to Saturday (excluding Sunday) 9.00am – 6.00pm. Tickets can be posted to you for a charge of 80p (postage and handling) or you can collect your tickets in person on the door of the Kings Hall on the day of the performance.
    Ticket agent bookings for each event will close at midday on the day of the show for evening shows and at close of business the day before for matinées. Further tickets will be on sale on the day of the performance at the Kings Hall box office.

    You can pay by cash by visiting the Kings Hall ticket office between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

    One Step Behind – Madness Tribute

    They’ve played to live TV audiences, at BBC Proms In The park to 50,000 people, at top venues around the UK and Europe, and this May, Herne Bay gets to enjoy ‘One Step Behind’ the UK’s top Madness Tribute Act, live at The Kings Hall.

    Please note this is a standing only event, with advance ticket purchase only.

    SRP Toys : Kent Coast Toy Train and Model Collectors Fair and Train Show
    May 18 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

    SRP fairs have over 20 years experience and currently promote 60 shows in the South East Covering Thameside, Essex, & Mid Kent and along The Sussex Coast. Established at The Kings Hall in 2013 this show is proving extremely popular with 4 dates planned for 2014.

    Running from 10am to 2pm adult admission is £2 with accompanied Children U15 FREE
    .
    At this show there will be 60+ stalls selling both old and new toys and trains, such as die-cast classic models, lego, soldiers and military, star wars, agricultural and lorries, books, magazines maps and publications and more dependent on dealers attending. There will also be a large train layout featuring vintage toys that are over 50 years old. Some traders specialise in local models depicting Kent businesses and county items, and other traders are here to raise monies for a Kent coast holiday getaway for London Children with learning difficulties. From a clearance bargain to that sleeping rarity the collector or general enthusiast can have a great time.

    No need to miss lunch as the venue has its professional Hot Food and snacks service available at the foyer tea room.
