And here it is ladies and gentlemen, probably our biggest announcement to date, and by far our biggest, most ambitious project to date.

On Sat 15th August, as part of the Herne Bay Amy Johnson Memorial Airshow, we are delighted to announce that we have secured the services of the world-famous RAF Red Arrows team! It doesn’t end there either, the Eurofighter Typhoon will be joining us for another stunning display, and the Battle Of Britain Memorial team, including Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire, and Hurricane will be soaring across our skies too in what will be the biggest event in the town’s history. Do not miss this historic day!

Add these elements to already confirmed display teams including The Great War Team,¬† De Havilland Vampire Jet (and we understand that Lauren Richardson, the UK’s top female stunt pilot, aged just 27 will be performing for us too) and you have an sense of scale of this momentous¬†day.

We even have a static Spitfire, Hurricane and German aircraft display on the ground too, along with an exhibition trailer as part of a special Battle Of Britain Experience offering, and later in the evening we’ll be offering live music courtesy of Abalicious, Rubber Biscuit and Hyperactive on the Clock Tower Plaza!

A massive day for Herne Bay awaits this summer. Our message from the outset will be that this is a BIG event for a small town, so leave the car at home at all costs. Easy and regular transports links by train and bus can drop you on the doorstep of the event if you’re not local, and you won’t want to miss what promises to be an amazing day by ignoring this very important advice.
