So what’s going on during our ‘Halloweek’ festival this autumn?

As you know, we at the Bay Promo Team don’t like there to be too many lulls in the year in Herne Bay, so here’s the comprehensive guide to our annual Herne Bay Halloweek Festival which runs from Tuesday 25th October to Saturday 29th October, with loads of events from us and our friends.

Kids Korner have a monstrous collection of every Zombie & Halloween accessories for the Zombie Crawl, so make sure you give them a visit.

We’ve teamed up with Beach Creative and Shore is a Load of Rubbish to bring you some free spooky workshops and talks throughout the week. Be quick to book though as some places go very fast. There’s a great talk from the British Bat Society hosted by Beach Creative too.

A Bundle of Books will be offering some spooky workshops with storytelling, The Activity Box have some fab things you can create (fee applies), there’s even a Halloween fun day at Canterbury Garden Centre at Herne Common too!

Hampton School have their fun & fireworks evening on Friday 28th.

The Kavanagh Cinema are joining in the Zombie fun, with a great grown up Zombie Movie Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies on Friday 28th October.  Peter’s Produce are once again sponsoring the excellent pumpkin competition on Halloween, Saturday 29th October, with some great prizes.

On Zombie Crawl day, Sat 29th October, our very own Zombie Creation Lab is being hosted by Smartyart Facepainting from 10am – 4.30pm and again from 6pm – 8.30pm, for those that want their make-up done effortlessly by a pro before the crawl and ball, charges apply.

The whole week is rounded off with our Zombie Crawl and Ball, the UKs largest after-dark Zombie Crawl (which meets 6.30pm, for a 7pm start from the Clock Tower Plaza) with around 2,000 zombies taking to the streets, lead by the undead beats of the Samba Pelo Mar band, and joined by a Zombiesaurus, a Zombie T-Rex (watch those limbs!)

For those planning on coming to the Zombie Ball, this event always sells out, so do get your tickets asap, from www.baypromoteam.ticketsource.co.uk, or around town from Peters Produce, Kids Korner, or The Activity Box. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £6 for children.
