On Monday April 8, Canterbury Community Safety Partnership will be holding a Neighbourhood Day in Herne Bay in conjunction with the Love Where You Live event.
All are welcome to join in with the activities at the Bandstand in Herne Bay between 10am and 3pm. These include:
- Cycle Marking by the Police
- Road Safety demonstrations from Kent Fire and Rescue Service
- ‘Bunting Mania’ Drop-in Workshop – to create community bunting for the town of Herne Bay. We will be using old T-shirts for making hanging string, so please bring them along and find out how!
There will also be an Information Kiosk at Mortimer Street where you will have an opportunity to speak to members of the Partnership, voice your concerns, seek crime prevention advice and find out about the services available in your area.
Neighbourhood Days focus on engaging with the local community and provide an opportunity for the residents of Canterbury district to meet representatives from the wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies that work in the area.
