The popular annual Zombie Crawl will be returning to Herne Bay once again in 2019 – this time around brought to you by local event organisers Sporting Events UK and CC Productions.
The Zombie Crawl is brought back to life this autumn. Better known as the companies behind the Saxon Shore Half Marathon and Late & Live on the Pier shows, the two events organisers promise a spooktacular event with the addition of a 5k run for those who wish to stretch their legs just that little bit further.
Barry Hopkins of Sporting Events UK commented “We are delighted to be involved in delivering the 2019 Herne Bay Zombie Crawl. The Bay Promo Team have done a great job over the last 8 years in making this event such a huge success and after a good run have decided to pass the baton on but will continue to help in its promotion. As local companies ourselves we wanted the tradition to continue and we look forward to it being even bigger and better in 2019”.
Carlo Monticolombi of CC Productions is equally enthusiastic in ensuring the future of the Zombie Crawl, “as a local company we are excited to be involved and look forward to ensuring that the event continues and thrives well into the future, and to working with Sporting Events UK on yet another great event for Herne Bay!”
In 2019, the Herne Bay Halloween Zombie Crawl joins Sporting Events UK’s line up of events. This special event, in association with CC Productions, will take place on the seafront at Herne Bay. The Zombie Crawl and Zombie Ball is on Saturday 2nd November. The brand new 5k run will be on Halloween itself, the 31st October. Expect much fun, laughter and spookiness.
The Zombie Crawl 5k
This is for the more energetic Zombies amongst you. The first part of the route is the same as the walk, but continues towards Hampton before returning to the Bandstand at Herne Bay. Minimum age for this 11 years on the day. EVERY 5k finisher gets a unique medal. You need to register below for this.
The Original Zombie Crawl
The Zombie Crawl is a one mile free walk with all your Zombie friends. It’s open to everyone and we are hoping for some great costumes and outfits! The Zombie Crawl starts at the Bandstand on Herne Bay Seafront, goes along Mortimer Street in the town and returns to the Bandstand via Herne Bay Pier. Safe trick or treating and Halloween fun for all the family.
The Zombie Ball
This is the after party for everyone. Doors open at 7:30pm for this. The price is £6 each for all. There will be a spooky buffet available and entertainment. The Zombie Ball will have possibly the biggest Thriller dance ever seen in Herne Bay. Music, lights and fun is what this is all about. *Note* there may be some scary moments, so children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult – think PG at the cinemas! You also need to register for this below.
You can also get tickets for the Zombie Ball in person at Kids Corner in Mortimer Street and Makcaris on Central Parade or head over the Sporting Events UK website for tickets and to enter the Zombie Crawl 5k.
